Private Piano Lessons
Did you have lessons as a child and always wish you had continued? Do you know how to read music, but want to be able to read chord symbols and play by ear?  Are you a student in your school jazz band and want to learn how to solo? I have 35 years experience performing and teaching Jazz, Salsa, Latin Jazz and Pop Music, and I also teach Jazz Theory & Improvisation and Latin Rhythms for all instruments. I teach at my home in West Seattle, WA, on the Eastside at Musicworks Northwest, and in North Seattle at Music Center of the Northwest.
Residencies & Ensembles
I conduct an Afro-Cuban Jazz ensemble at Musicworks Northwest, and offer residencies at middle and high schools. I have been artist in residence at Madison Middle School, Edmonds-Woodway High School, College Place Middle School, Bellevue High School, Chinook Middle School, Kent/Meridian High School and Kamiak High School.

I have a library of original arrangements that can easily be customized for any ensemble, and an extensive knowledge of Latin styles. I can bring a professional rhythm section, or a full band for a lecture-demonstration, and introduce your students to some music that they might not have heard. I can do a week long residency or come once a week, and we can customize a program that meets your needs. To top it off, Sonando can join your band for an unforgettable concert!
